SDGPI Director Gordon McCord has been at the forefront of groundbreaking initiatives that are shaping the future of public health and sustainable development and his impact has been recognized as part of the main ongoing research portafolio at University of California, San Diego. He is currently at the helm of three additional pioneering projects. These projects span diverse areas including infectious disease risk assessment, regional decarbonization strategies, and data-driven government planning aimed at achieving sustainable development goals. Through his multifaceted endeavors, McCord is addressing critical global challenges and propelling us towards a more sustainable and prosperous future.
